Celebration of Life Service Set in Loving Memory of Sarah Lee Record

Sarah Lee Record

( December 17, 1991 – March 15, 2024 )

Sarah Lee Record was born on December 17, 1991, and died unexpectedly of natural causes at home in Raton, New Mexico, on March 15, 2024. She is survived by her parents, Marty Record, and Margaret and Leo Linsky; her sister, Elizabeth Record; her boyfriend Kevin Junge; her great uncle, Dr. John Robertson; her uncles and aunts Jeff and Sonja Record, Jean and Bruce Lemmon, and Andy and Helen Robertson; cousins, step-siblings, and her work family at ACE Hardware.

Sarah graduated from Raton High School, attended Trinidad State College, and worked for Records Ace Hardware. She loved animals, music, art, movies, fictional languages, and literature. She strove to be an author, and her writings were funny and poignant. She was a courageous advocate for people with mental illnesses and anxiety. Shy and reserved in personality, she loved color and tattoos, and she was never embarrassed to be herself and express her exuberant style. She enjoyed cosplay and was learning complex theatrical makeup.

In memory of Sarah Record and her rescue dog, Otis, the family suggests memorial donations to the Raton Humane Society, Box 1321, Raton, New Mexico 87740, or a cause important to you.

A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF SARAH HAS BEEN SET FOR SATURDAY, JULY 13, 2024 AT 10 AM AT THE SHULER THEATER IN RATON.
