In Loving Memory of Corbett Wade Sullivan

Corbett Wade Sullivan, 64, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Corbett was born on June 24, 1960, in Etter, Texas. Corbett was a graduate of Cimarron High School. He received his Associate of Applied Science [AAS] degree from TVI School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Corbett worked for Galles (Unser) racing after graduation from TVI. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation where he was a Supervisor on the road crew. Corbett was a man of many talents; he was an expert carpenter and mechanic. His love of cars occupied a lot of his time. He was so proud of his natural ability to fix anything broken and get it running again. His 1961 Chevy Truck was his latest project. When he got that truck up and running and you saw it on the road you knew it was something he was very proud of. He also bridged his love for music and carpentry when he ran the cabinet shop for Hastings. He innovated music stores nationwide by building try before you buy any consoles. His design was in every Hastings store nationwide built by his crew.
Corbett was a friend to everyone he met, no one was a stranger. He was always willing to help any way he could. His door was always open, and he was always there to lend a hand. He had of gift of gab and was ready to share his knowledge of God’s Word to anyone who would listen. His talent was vastly appreciated by his family and friends. His “mischievous” fun loving nature will be missed.
Corbett is survived by his son Cade Sullivan, sister Myda (Steve), brother, Mark Sullivan (Diana), Sister Sharon (Mark) Crayton and sister, Jacquelyn Sullivan. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Chelsea Sullivan, his parents, Jack and Jean Sullivan, grandparents (Daddy Dear and Angel).
Corbett’s passion was the Lord, family, especially his brother Mark. When you saw them together, they were like two little kids back in Miami.
God took you too soon, we were not ready to let you go, but we know you are home.
Corbett will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His life was well lived but cut too short. God needed you home. You will be missed brother. Rest in the arms of Jesus.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2:00pm at Rogers Mortuary Chapel, Las Vegas, NM with Pastor Mark Saiz officiating.
