Obituary
Rafaelita Ortiz Lucero – age 86, passed away June 7, 2024 in Raton, New Mexico.
Rafaelita was preceded in death by her husband Desiderio “J. O.” Lucero, her parents Nerio F. Ortiz & Maria Eloisa Vigil Ortiz, son in law James Garcia, six brothers, three sisters, and several nephews & nieces.
Rafaelita is survived by her children Adella Lucero Garcia of Raton, Jimmy Lucero of Raton and Mary Lucero Bouquet (Alfredo) of Albuquerque. Three grandchildren Ursula Garcia of Raton, Bryan Garcia of Raton, & Jasmine Bouquet Dann of Tennessee, one great granddaughter Zoe Gomez of Colorado, one brother Dan Ortiz of Raton, and several nephews and nieces.
As per Rafaelita’s request, there will be no services.
Arrangements for Rafaelita Ortiz Lucero are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear about your mom. Such a pretty lady inside and out. I remember your family visits to my grandma’s house.
