Joe R. Aragon, born in Springer, New Mexico June 12, 1960, passed away on April 30, 2024.
Joe was a loving husband, father, and brother. For over twenty years, he was a loyal employee
of the United States Post Office. Joe is remembered for his humorous personality and multiple
musical talents. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Larry Aragon, mother Corrine Aragon,
and son Michael Aragon. He is survived by his loving wife Linda Aragon, daughter Marci
Aragon, brothers Manuel (Lupe) Steele, Hector (Anita) Verdin, and John (Kara) Verdin; sisters
Sherry Lopez-Steele, Tina (Augie) Gonzalez, and Crystal (Guillermo) Moncivais; stepdaughters
Andrea (Louis) Palomo, Rosalynn (Todd) Pilant, Annie Cosare, and Casey Corona, as well as
eleven grandchildren and other extended families.
A memorial service will be held at the Alderette Funeral Home in Raton, New Mexico on
Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
