Raton High School is proud to announce our 2024 Renewable Energy Graduates from Mesalands Community College. These students are:

The Wind Energy Technology/Renewable Energy Certificate program is designed to give students a selection of courses to enhance professional opportunities in the growing field of wind energy. This certificate provides instruction in the growing field of wind energy and focuses on turbine maintenance, electrical theory, monitoring and communication technology, safety, motors, generators, and mechanical systems. This program helps students obtain real-world training experiences. Students conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on the College’s 1.5-megawatt wind turbine, under the direction of instructors with field experience as wind technicians.
