OBITUARY FOR ALBERT MARTINEZ who died on April 28, 2024
Albert Martinez passed away at home on April 28, 2024, at the age of 93. He was born to Rafael Martinez and Carmelita Trujillo in Reilly Canyon on May 30, 1930. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by daughter Audrey Cancini, sisters Lucy Trujillo, and Dolores Jones, and brothers Manuel Martinez, Freddie Martinez, Anthony Martinez, and Raymond Martinez.
Albert had five children: Albert Ray Anthony (Cindy) Martinez, Albert Leroy Martinez, Debbie (Joe Baros), and Alan Martinez. He has seven grandchildren: Joe Baros, Isaiah Baros, Sherri Lynn Martinez, Alan Jr. Martinez, Celeste Hurley, Aspen Holly, and Bubba Holly. His five great-grandchildren include Deijah Lucero, Xavier Medina, Mariah Baros, Evangelina Hurley, and Apollo Hurley.
His siblings include Margret Valdez, Mary Velasquez (Raymond), Stella Abeyta (Phil), Theresa Robles, Robert Martinez (Elsie), and Arthur Martinez (Mary Ellen). He is also survived by many special friends, nieces, and nephews; he was loved by everyone. He asked to thank Lisa and Bob for taking care of his grandchildren.
