It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Sanchez on February 1, 2024. Cindy was born on December 21, 1963 to parents Albert and Beatrice Trujillo. She attended Des Moines High School and later Luna Community College where she met her husband, Marion. Cindy and Marion married on September 21st, 1982 and welcomed 4 children Beatrice, Marion, Buck, and Daniel.

Cindy loved going on adventures with her husband on their Harley Davidson. She also enjoyed going to concerts and listening to her favorite music. She loved to go with her family hunting and fishing. Cindy enjoyed taking care of her family and her grandchildren. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and compete in competitions. Cindy was a hard worker and always willing to help her family and others. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Marion Sanchez Sr., Daughter Beatrice Sanchez significant other Nevada Smith,; Marion Sanchez Jr. wife Jessica, son Buck Sanchez significant other Amanda Kite, son Daniel Sanchez wife Courtney. Grandchildren Gabriella, Isabella, Alfonso, Marion, Dominic, Hunter, Irving, and a baby on the way Lakelyn.

Cindy was also survived by her brother Albert Trujillo of Tampa, FL, Sister Bonnie Richardson husband Alan of Albuquerque, NM, Melissa Garcia husband Joe of Jemez, NM, sister in law Juanita Garcia husband Johnny of Las Vegas, NV, sister in law Louise Pacheco husband Anthony of Denver CO, sister in law Alice Sanchez Of Pueblo, CO, sister in law Bertha Sanchez husband George, Brother in law Antonio Sanchez, sister in law Patsy Lucero, brother in law David Sanchez, brother in law Zeke Sanchez wife Becky all of Raton, NM and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy is Proceed in death by her parents, Albert Trujillo, and Beatrice Trujillo, maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers Danny Trujillo and Jimmy Trujillo

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on February 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial at a later date. A meal and reception will follow immediately after at the Elks Lodge in Raton.

Arrangements for Cindy L. Sanchez are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
