Victor James Aguilar Jr., 29, of Trinidad, Colorado passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with his mother and father by his side. He joined his brother and grandmother in heaven with the other angels on January 26, 2024, in Trinidad, Colorado. He was born on July 5, 1994 in Trinidad.
Victor Jr. Was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Henry Aguilar, and his grandmother, Jane Lucille Aguilar, both from Trinidad, Colorado, his grandfather, Henry Arthur Vasquez, his grandmother, Evelyn Elaine Vasquez, his aunt Kathy Vasquez Adiano, and his Uncle Benji Vasquez, all from Garcia, Colorado.
Victor Jr. Is survived by his mother and father, Molly and Victor Aguilar Sr., his grandfather Jake Aguilar, all from Trinidad; his aunts and uncles, Terry Aguilar and Raul Velarde of Trinidad, Jacob and Ida Aguilar of Pueblo, Henrietta Kelly of Alamosa and his dog Angel also known as Splash of home address,
numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins, and many great friends.
Victor loved to play all kinds of games. He especially liked to play cards, dice games, video games and build Legos. He spent a lot of time drawing and writing short stories, collecting and watching movies with his mom and dad, and listening to music. Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra were among his favorites. He was a hard worker doing construction work, cooking, and helping everyone clean the house and do yard work. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, especially his best friend. Grandpa Jake. His favorite colors were royal purple and black. Please feel free to wear these colors to his services in memory of him.
He was truly loved by everyone and will be missed by many.
Rosary will be held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 12:30 pm on February 9, 2024; Eulogy and Funeral Mass will follow at the Church at 1:00 pm., Inurnment will be at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetary following the mass. Dinner will complete the services at the Old School House Venue and Reception Hall behind Big R.
