Martin D. Licon was born on June 19, 2004, in Dalhart, Texas to Jose Luis Licon and Carmen Avila. He grew up in Texline, Texas, and graduated from Texline High School in 2022. Martin enjoyed hanging out with his friends, sketching, and playing video games. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Texline. Martin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lorenzo Avila, an aunt, Lorenza Avila Rios, and an uncle, Lorenzo R. Avila.
