In Loving Memory of Isabelle Marie Gutierrez (née Crespin)
Isabelle Marie Gutierrez, a devoted servant of God, peacefully departed from this life on
January 28, 2024, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by the love of her family as she
transitioned into the embrace of her Lord.
Isabelle was born on December 28, 1935, in Trinidad, Colorado, to Eddie Crespin and Margaret Crespin. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eddie Lee Gutierrez, and her son, Eddie “Sonny” Gutierrez, her sister Phyllis Rivera, brothers Adolph and Michael “Buddy”Crespin. Isabelle is survived by her loving children Linda Sanchez, Margie (Don) Espinosa, Phyllis (Mike) Tapia, Randy (Barbara) Gutierrez, Mark (Jody) Gutierrez, Debbie (Michael) Gonsalez, Kathy Adams, Kristee (Travis) Coberly, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cherished relatives and friends.
Isabelle’s unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her life. She found solace and strength in her Catholic beliefs and was a dedicated member of Holy Trinity Church, where she selflessly served her community through various ministries and charitable endeavors. Isabelle’s devotion
to her family was unconditional, and her nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in honor of Isabelle at Holy Trinity Church.
Interment will follow at Trinidad Cemetery, where Isabelle will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Eddie, and son, Sonny.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to all who have offered prayers, support, and condolences during this time of sorrow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Isabelle’s memory to Holy Trinity Church, 135 Church St. Trinidad, Colorado, 81082.
