In Loving Memory of Joseph Thomas DiMarco UPDATE

Joseph Thomas DiMarco of Trinidad died on December 28, 2023, in Trinidad, Colorado.

He was born in an adobe house in Engleville on June 3, 1949, to Joseph Amadeo DiMarco and Evelyn (Montoya) DiMarco.  He was raised and adopted by his paternal grandparents Louis and Martha DiMarco.

He attended East Street Elementary, Rice Jr. High, and graduated from Trinidad High School in 1967.  He had many talents and job descriptions as a plumber, roofer, maintenance, and mechanic and was a Jack of All Trades in the true sense of the word.

He was an excellent pool player, hunter, fisherman, and craftsman and he loved the mountains but especially the hills in Engleville. He was a very outdoor person and he was at his best in the glorious beauty of nature.

Joseph is survived by his sister Maria Sylvia DiMarco of La Junta, half-sisters and brothers Richard, Roberta, Robert and Elizabeth; Uncles Carl Montoya of Grand Lake and Pete (Ermalinda) Montoya of Pueblo; Aunts Gloria Powers of Rocky Ford, Dolly Padilla of Trinidad and Judy (Tim) Koller of Pueblo; Nephews Boyd (Becky) Valverde of La Junta, Ben (Jenny) Valverde of Pueblo, Christopher (Bob) Martinez of Atlanta, Georgia, Clifford (Laura) Martinez of La Junta, Troy (Robyn) Platt of Swink, Gilbert Platt of Washington, Louie (Marlene) DiMarco of Eerie, Robert DiMarco of Lafayette; Niece Kathy DiMarco of Longmont, numerous great and great great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and a multitude of special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph A. DiMarco and Evelyn (Montoya) DiMarco; his paternal grandparents Louis and Martha DiMarco, his maternal grandparents Alex and Eloisa (Garcia) Montoya; brothers Louis Robert DiMarco and LouieDiMarco; sisters Irene Platt and Martha DiMarco.

Rosary and Services will be on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 1:00 pm at the Comi Funeral Home chapel. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in the Engleville Cemetery.

Arrangements have been made under the direction of Comi Funeral Home at 1804 East Main Street, Trinidad, Colorado.
