Michael Egan Elliott

Michael Egan Elliott, was born on April 30, 1948, and passed away on December 31, 2023, from a long illness.
At his time of death, Mike resided at the New Mexico State Veterans Home in Truth or Consequences, NM, where he was loved, and had excellent care.
Mike was a 45-year-long resident of New Mexico, residing mainly in Raton. Mike stayed in other towns in New Mexico, while holding on the Santa Fe Railroad. Mike was in the US Army, from 1966-1968, as is a Vietnam Veteran.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother Patricia, father Harod, daughter Leyla, brothers Kit and Sean, and three nephews, Derek, PJ, and Kevin.
Mike is survived by his wife Lucinda, son Abraham, grandchildren, Ivy, Zoe, Sydney, Logan, and Reid, sister Sabra, brother Patrick, Niece, Bridget, and nephews Jon, Roy, Sean Jr., Jason, Justin, and Daniel.
Mike loved and cared deeply about his many friends, his community, and his family. Mike had overflowing love for his kids Abe and Leyla, and so much love and pride for all his grandkids, Ivy, Zoe, Sydney Logan, and Reid.
Mike, so many people love you and admire you. We will forever miss you and your humor and your love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home. Followed by Internment at the Angle Fire Veterans Cemetery.
