A special meeting of the City Commission of the City of Raton will be held on January 8, 2024 at 6 p.m. Pursuant to City of Raton Open Meetings Resolution 2023-01 Commissioners may participate via conference call. The following subjects will be considered by the City Commission and may be considered in any order that is most convenient for the City Commission.
I. Call Meeting to Order by Mayor Neil Segotta
II. Roll Call of the Members of the City Commission and determination of quorum.
III. Pledge of Allegiance to the U. S. Flag.
IV. Recognition of Visitors, Citizen of the Month and/or Presentation of Proclamation, Service Award, Congratulations, Condolences, Holiday Schedules and City/Municipal events.
• All City Offices will be Closed Monday, January 15th in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
• Regular City Commission Meeting on January 9th is Cancelled to Allow Elected Officials to Attend Training
• Notice of Potential Quorum: A Quorum of the Raton City Commission will attend the NM Municipal League Municipal Officials Leadership Institute: Level I, January 10-11, 2024 and the 35th Annual Municipal Day February 7-8, 2024 in Santa Fe
