Elda Talentino, age 99, passed away at The Legacy in Trinidad, Colorado on December 30, 2023. Elda was born in Sopris, Colorado to Dominic B Talentino and Margaret Natalina (Lena) Bono on September 4, 1924. She spent her early years in Dicks, Colorado before moving with her family to the family residence at 1500 Garfield Avenue, Trinidad, Colorado where she resided until moving to The Legacy in 2022. She spent most of her working life as a sales clerk for the Jamieson Department Store In Trinidad and as a dental receptionist. She attended and graduated from Trinidad High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters (Teresa Topping and Mary Welch), and her brother Fred Talentino. She is survived by 5 nephews and one niece.
visitation will be on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 3 PM to 6 PM at the Comi chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with the Rosary at 9 AM at Comi Chapel followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church.
Interment to follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
