Rose M. Quinteri Peretto
Rose passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side after a short battle with
cancer.
Rose was born in Trinidad, CO to Frank Quinteri and Annie Tortorelli. She was the youngest of 5
siblings and grew up in El Moro, CO. She attended El Moro School and Hoehne High School
where she graduated in 1954. Rose worked for Dr. William Lamden D.D.S. until she became
co-owner of the local Tastee-Freez for the next 20 years. After that, she began a lengthy medical
receptionist career with Dr. Charles Raye M.D. until retiring from the office of Dr. Joseph P.
Jimenez M.D. in 2003. During Rose’s earlier years, she was an active member of multiple
chapters of Beta Sigma Phi and had a passion for bowling, “Throwing the ball down the lane”
every Wednesday with the Channel Dusters Bowling league.
Proceeding Rose in death were her parents Frank and Annie Quinteri, Father of her children
Bernard A. Peretto. Also proceeding her are, Raffie Molinaro, Charles (Josephine) Quinteri,
Carmen Molinaro, Frank Molinaro, Guy (Mary) Molinaro, Roger (Carolyn) Brunell, and many
other beloved relatives and friends.
Surviving Rose are her children, daughter DiAnne (Joe) Monarco, son Bernard O. Peretto,
Grandson Stephen (Renee) Honeywell, Granddaughter Rosemaria (Michael) Marquez, Great
Granddaughters Mya Jimenez, Danika, and Demi Honeywell, Great Grandsons Brantley and
Blayne Marquez, Great Great Grandson Ephraim Jimenez-Ortivez, Sister-in-law Joann
Molinaro, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Godchildren. With the birth of Ephraim, Rose
was gifted with a 5-generation family.
Services for Rose will be as followed Rosary at Comi Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 4,
2024, at 6:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Friday, January
5, 2024, at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers Rose requested donations made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
