Virginia Louise Anderson, 92, died unexpectedly October 13, 2023, at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo Colorado. She was born April 13,1931 in Trinidad, Colorado, the daughter of James and Laura Ellen Fox.
Virginia graduated from Trinidad High School, class of 1949. She married Donald Anderson on April 1, 1951. They celebrated 66 years of marriage until Donald’s passing in 2017.
Virginia was active in the community. She was a long-time member of the Trinidad Ladies Golf Association, a member of several bowling leagues, DAR, and numerous bridge groups.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents, husband Donald, brother Bill, sisters Joan and Mary Ellen, and son Swede.
She is survived by son John and wife Debbie, grandchildren Sarah (Cody) Plagge, Luke (Megan) Anderson, Clayton Anderson, and Misty (John) Ryman. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, sister Margie Raddatz (Bill Lewis), numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

A funeral service of remembrance will be held 2:00p.m. Monday, October 30 at the Trinidad Community Church, 216 Broom St., Trinidad, Colorado.
