a. Application VR-2023-005 by Jenifer Radlein, requesting that a portion of County Road 69.4, approximately 50 feet wide and 348 feet in length, be vacated. The location is 9850 Santa Fe Trail with a legal description of Section 36, Township 33, Range 64, Part of the W2NW. The proposed vacating will not change the zoning.
b. Amended Application SUP-2023-002 by Las Animas County is seeking approval to establish a Pauper’s Cemetery. A Pauper’s Cemetery is utilized as a common grave for the burial of unknown, unclaimed, or indigent. The proposed location is a 5-acre parcel in part of the NWNWNW of Section 24 Township 31 Range 61 West of the 6th PM. The proposed Special Use Permit will not change the zoning but, if granted, would allow for a non-conforming use within the zoning not otherwise allowed without a Special Use Permit.
