Marvin Mike “Coach” Litt, 84 passed away on October 2, 2023 in Clovis, NM.
He was born September 10, 1939 in Flint Michigan, the oldest of five children and the son of Fred and Millie Litt.
After graduation, he joined the Air Force and was a pitcher for the Air Force baseball team and had the accomplishment of pitching a no-hitter as part of a game that was played in front of and in honor of the Queen of England.
He met Donna Miller in Anaheim, CA and they were married in 1964.
Preceeding him in death were his parents and his son Robert who passed away in 2018. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna of Raton, son Dr. Michael Litt and his wife Dr. Christine Litt and two grandchildren Daniel and Matthew.
He worked for the telephone company for many years and lived in India, Australia and Hawaii before moving to Raton in 2002. He started coaching pitching for Raton High School Baseball and helped coach several 2AAA District Championship Teams and the NM State 3A Championship team of 2007.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
