Carol A. Brandolino, 65, passed away September 21, 2023. She was born September 7, 1958
in Trinidad, CO to Frank and Betty Cristoforetti.
Carol graduated from Trinidad High School, Class of 1976. Shortly after graduation, she married
Frank A. Brandolino on June 11, 1977 and together they had two children. She loved being a
stay at home mother and devoted her life to raising her children. When her kids were grown,
Carol began working for Leone’s Sand and Gravel-Ready Mix as an office manager, where she
devoted 25 years. She loved her profession and enjoyed the people she encountered daily.
Carol’s main interests were her family, friends and especially her grandchildren, who were her
pride and joy. She also loved cooking, having coffee with friends, shopping, and spending time
with her dogs and cats. Carol will always be remembered for her loving and kind heart and her
willingness to help others.
Carol was active in her community and served on the board for Advocates Against Domestic
Assault and she volunteered for Mt. Rose Hospice.
Carol is preceded in death by her husband Frank A. Brandolino, her parents Frank and Betty
Cristoforetti and her mother and father-in-law, Nick and Pauline Brandolino.
Carol is survived by her daughter Tiffany (Steve) Howton of Gering, NE, her son Casey
(Chelsea) Brandolino of Midland, TX, brother Daniel (Margo) Cristoforetti of Trinidad, CO, sister-
in-law Renee (Brian) Tamburelli of Trinidad, CO, four grandchildren: Andrew and Westyn
Howton, Lane and Laci Brandolino and family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Comi Funeral Home
with graveside services at the Archangel Michael Columbarium, Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Reception dinner to follow at the El Rancho.
