PRISCILLA (CRUZ) STONECYPHER
Priscilla (Cruz) Stonecypher sadly passed away at the age of 80
on July 14, 2023. She spent her last 53 years living in Rosemead,
California with her husband William, who passed away in 2018.
Priscilla was a loving Mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, and supportive friend. She will be dearly missed by family and friends
who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Priscilla leaves behind her daughter, Joyce, and husband Fred, sons
Bill and his late wife Lisa, David, and wife Jette, Jimmy, and wife Merlin,
grandchildren Benjamin and wife Hannah, Robbie and girlfriend Michelle,
Will and girlfriend Michelle, Andrew, Ethan and Jonah. Also surviving are
her sisters, Judy Phelps, Virginia (Gina) Duran, and Susie, and her husband
Frank Aguilar, her brothers, Johnny Cruz, Raymond and wife Norma Cruz,
Danny and wife Danita Cruz, Albert and wife Sandra Cruz, Larry and wife
Maria Cruz and Mario Cruz. She is also survived by numerous nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William, her
parents, Venancio and Lucy Cruz, Her beloved grandmother, Sofia,
her brothers Robert and Thomas Cruz, her brother-in-law, Chuck Phelps
and her beloved daughter-in-law, Lisa Stonecypher.
Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Springer, NM
On September 16, 2023, with Rosary at 9:30 am and Mass at 10:00 am.
A reception luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall.
