Colfax County Manager Monte Gore gave the County Commission and Colfax County residents this update on Thursday, Sept. 7
- We have had disruptions with Tri-State due to continual trash truck breakdowns. They are behind again. June and I are currently working on legal/operational options. I contacted Arthur Roll-Off and advised him we would be deploying his roll-offs to reinforce areas being impacted he has been preparing for this for the last two days.
As of right now:
- Moreno Valley/Black Lake and Miami today (Thurs.) and most likely tomorrow.
- Raton is scheduled for Tomorrow (Friday) most likely it will be into the weekend.
- Part of Springer and Farley was done yesterday (Wed.) but they need to return, and they need to pick up in Maxwell.
- Miami is being picked up now (Thurs.)
- We are deploying roll-offs at the Event Center on Hiway 555. Cherokee Hills and Meadow Lark Lane now and will get information out to the public .
We will continue to be fluid throughout the weekend and will monitor things and deploy more roll-offs as needed or necessary.
