Mildred Ann Spalding (86) passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2023. Mildred was born in Albuquerque New Mexico on October 27, 1936. She married James (Jim) Spalding and had 2 sons (Tom, Danny Joe). She attended Highlands College and became a teacher and taught for Springer Schools for over 30 years.
Mildred is proceeded in death by; her husband Jim Spalding and her two sons, Thomas Donald along with his wife Ramona, and Daniel Joseph. She leaves behind 1 sister, 4 granddaughters, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a great lady who we all loved dearly, and she will be greatly missed by many.
Recitation of the most Holy Rosary will be on August 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Springer, NM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Trieu as the Celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Springer Cemetery.
