Vivien Irene (Abeyta) Febbraro, born Dec. 20, 1939, peacefully left this world on July 14, 2023, to take her place in Heaven. Vivien was strong in her faith and an immensely caring and selfless person. Taking care of her family and growing in her faith were her biggest passions in life. Vivien graduated from Aguilar High School and Adams State College, taught school, owned an antique shop, and managed Febbraro Construction Co. with her beloved husband Joseph Febbraro Jr. Vivien and Joseph were married June 15, 1962, and have spent 61 wonderful years together.
Vivien leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Joseph Febbraro Jr, sister Ida Marquez, daughters Shawna (Bob) Nall & Audra (Dave) Garrett, son Anthony (Melanie) Febbraro, grandchildren Natasia (Jared) Cosgrove, Krysta (Mike) Toci, Wesley Febbraro Jr, Tonya (Chris) Baca, & Kali (Eric) Cescolini, Mike (Shannon) & Traci Garrett & Stacy (Paulo) Valdez, and Jack, Charlie, & Emma Febbraro, several great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Larry Duran, sisters-in-law Minnie Payne & Debbie Abeyta, and many cousins, nieces, & nephews. Also left to cherish her memories are numerous dear and special friends.
Vivien was preceded by her parents Adam & Connie Abeyta, in-laws Joseph and Roma Febbraro, brother Bernard Abeyta, brothers-in-law Ben Marquez and Elmer Payne, sister-in-law Roma Duran, sons Gregory & Wesley Febbraro, and granddaughter Olivia Febbraro.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Comi Funeral Home Chapel in Trinidad from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 21st at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Trinidad Catholic Cemetery
