Our loving mother, grandmother, and sister Rosalie Ulibarri-Valdez, was called home to her Heavenly Father on June 28th, with her family by her side.

She was born on October 18th, 1938, in Raton, New Mexico to Ferman and Mary Sandoval- Ulibarri. She married later in life to Andy Valdez and together they had a wonderful life, enjoying sports and laughter together. Rosalie was a hairdresser and enjoyed making people feel beautiful. She was beautiful, smart, outspoken, and loved her sports. She was able to see her beloved Nuggets win the championship in June! Rosalie was an amazing cook and enjoyed spending time with her family. Family was important to her, and she loved them all very much! Her faith was the center of her life.

She is survived by her husband Andy, children, Nancy Ulibarri, Kenneth Georgieff, and Judy Allison Beckman; Brothers and Sisters Ernie (Sally), Barbara, Larry, Ferman, and Linda; grandchildren Andee, Tristin, Joe Larry and Forest, 4 great-grandchildren Azariah, Dacian, Nevaeh, Malachi, and Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, sisters Marie and Nancy, and daughter Roberta Georgieff.

We will miss her greatly, but our hearts are full knowing she is at peace in her eternal home.

Recitation of The Most Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s/St. Joseph’s Church Catholic Church recited by the Legion of Mary, followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM with Father Woytavich as the celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements for Rosalie Ulbarri-Valdez are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
