Mary Helen (Weaver) Trujillo, age 89, died on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joseph Baltz as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.
Mary Helen (Weaver) Trujillo was born on August 16, 1933, in Des Moines, New Mexico to Leopuldo Valdez and Margaret Sandoval. She worked as a nurse for 17 years at Union County General Hospital and at the Clayton Nursing Home for 15 years. She also worked as a nurse’s aide for the Golden Spread for several years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Caytano Trujillo, her parents, and by 3 daughters, Irene Rael, Jane Arellano, and Louise Trujillo, and a son, Joseph C. “Joey” Trujillo.

2 DAUGHTERS: Regina Trujillo and Juve and Mae Trujillo and Rudy all of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 SON: Andrew Trujillo of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 SISTER: Elsie Garcia of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 Half-Sister: Erma Moreno of Las Vegas, New Mexico
1 Half-Brother: Tommy Valdez and Mary of Des Moines, New Mexico.
And numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
