Kim Grubelnik, age 52, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 3:00 pm at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton Street with Charlie Vannatta officiating. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 10:00 am at Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home, 244 N First Street, Raton, NM 87740. Private Interment will follow at a later date.
Kim was an avid outdoors woman who loved the mountains & fishing and spending her weekends sitting around the fire pit with family and friends. She loved traveling the world with Katherine and loved her fur baby, Gigi.
Kim is survived by her spouse; Katherine Grubelnik, mom; Barbara Grubelnik, sisters; Brenda (Tim) Samora and family all of Raton, NM, Debbie (Paul) Morgan and family all of Edgewood, NM, brother Randy (Cordie) Garcia and family all of Raton, NM, aunt; Rose Gallegos of Raton, NM, children; Angel Medina, Alleanna Medina, and Alex Medina all of Clovis, NM, godson; Chris Samora and family of Raton, NM; two beautiful grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father; Harold Grubelnik, brother; Eddie Martinez, and her beloved fur baby; Gigi.
Celebration of Life will be April 25th 2023 in the chapel of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton at 10:00 a.m. with Gene and Judy Duran Officiating.
Arrangements for Kim Grubelnik are under the direction of the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home.
