Start of Construction on US-64 To Begin on April 17
Angel Fire, N.M. – Start of Construction for the US Highway 64 Project will begin on April 17, 2023.
Active construction will take place Mondays through Saturdays. Varying lane restrictions will be in place and wait times for pilot vehicles can be expected.
There will be a 9.5 vehicle width restriction throughout the construction zone for the duration of the projects.
Fisher Sand & Gravel has been contracted by NMDOT to rehabilitate US-64 from mile post 272 to mile post 276. This work includes mill and overlay of the roadway, widening the shoulders, extending drainage structures, erosion control, traffic control, and signage and striping of the road.
