Public Meeting to Discuss Road Construction on US-64 To Be Held March 23
Road Construction Begins April 3
Angel Fire, N.M. – The New Mexico Department of Transportation District Four and Fisher Sand & Gravel (Contractor) will be holding a public meeting for the road construction project on U.S. 64 in Angel Fire. The NMDOT and its contractor, Fisher Sand & Gravel, will have representatives present to discuss and answer questions about road construction that is set to begin on April 3, 2023.
Active construction will take place Mondays through Saturdays. Varying lane restrictions will be in place and wait times for pilot vehicles can be expected.
Fisher Sand & Gravel has been contracted by NMDOT to rehabilitate US-64 from mile post 272 to mile post 276. This work includes mill and overlay of the roadway, widening the shoulders, extending drainage structures, erosion control, traffic control, and signage and striping of the road.
