Benny J. Baca

On Saturday, January 21, 2023, Benny J. Baca of Springer, N.M. passed away at the age of seventy-seven. Born to Beningo and Mary Baca in Wagon Mound, NM on March 25, 1945. Benny lived most of his life in Springer, NM.
Benny was proceeded in death by his father and mother, his brother Frank and his daughter Brenda.
He is survived by his children Lonnie, Larry, Lisa, and Erika as well as his sister Dorine and Brother Albert. Also surviving Benny is his wonderful companion, Susie Casias. He was fortunate to have been blessed with 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces.
Honorary pallbearers will include his personal friends Nick Hernandez, Abel Medina, Max Ramirez, Gil Duran, Polo Arellano, Lawrence Duran, Pat Casias, and Johnny Martinez.
Benny always made everyone feel so welcome and loved. He had very many friends and would always be the first person to give his last to anyone in need. Benny was deeply loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Benny’s family would like to express our gratitude for the tender care provided by Robin Pilley during our father’s final days.
Memorial will take place in the Chapel of the Alderette- Pomeroy Funeral Home on March 24th at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Wagon Mound cemetery.
