Grand Opening of the Market Bar
The Food Court at The Marketplace to Host Community Celebratory Event
Trinidad, CO., Feb. 7, 2023 – The Food Court at The Marketplace announces the Grand Opening of The
Market Bar, Trinidad’s newest social venue. Conveniently located in downtown Trinidad, The Market Bar
offers a casual experience for residents and travelers. Patrons may purchase craft beers, wines, and
spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, to pair with their favorite Marketplace meals.
The public is invited to come to The Marketplace for a community celebration on Saturday, February
18th. Family fun programming includes free activities hosted by the Youth Club of Trinidad and Mt.
Carmel Wellness and Community Center, mocktails for children, and specials at The Market Bar.
Attendees will have a chance to enter a raffle for a one-night stay and dining package for two individuals
at the soon-to-open Hilton Garden Inn destination hotel located in downtown Trinidad, as well as have
the opportunity for autographs and photos with Randy Gradishar, Denver Broncos All-Pro middle
linebacker, 1974-1983.
The day’s festivities conclude with live music performed by Jeff and Sam Montoya. Marketplace food
establishments Free Duh Greens!, M2 Café and Deli, Three Sisters Frybread, Trinidad Waffle Company,
and The Wing Pit will be offering discounts or promotional menu items for sale throughout the event.

ABOUT THE FOOD COURT AT THE MARKETPLACE
The Food Court at the Marketplace, formerly known as the Marty Feeds building, opened in March
2020. While the building has weathered several alterations since its construction in 1876, its historic
character remains in its individual walls and decorative courses of brick, complete with arched windows
and doors. The Marketplace provides small businesses, entrepreneurs, and vendors support and
structure to grow a business in a building designed on bringing people together to enjoy great food in a
family-friendly environment.
