He was born in Brilliant, NM to Amada (Emma) and Secundino Moreno, Sr (Cunie) on October 26, 1940. He was the third oldest of ten children. He was married to the love of his life, Beverly Jacobsen, for 40 years before she passed away in 2009. He is survived by his son, Steven Moreno, and wife Mollie; daughter Kristina Moreno; grandchildren Troy Moreno, Aidan Moreno, Lylah Moreno, Tristen Listy, and Trinity Listy; sister Liz Webb of Albuquerque; sister Eleanor Harper of Albuquerque; sister Mary Salazar (Eloy) of Albuquerque; Robben Hewitt (Jerry) of Northport, AL; brother John Moreno of Albuquerque; brother Jim Moreno (Lydia) of Albuquerque; sister Lori Maestas (Mario) of Raton, NM; companion and girlfriend Jackie Meese and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Dino served in the National Guard and US Navy and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He moved to Albuquerque after his service in the Navy to work at Galles’ Dealership as a mechanic. He then worked as a chief mechanic for PNM for 30 years and retired in 2002. Dino loved and cherished his family dearly and doted on his grandchildren, supporting them and cheering them on at every opportunity. Like his father, he loved tinkering and fixing things. Restoring Volkswagen bugs was his passion, winning numerous awards at car shows over the years. He loved to travel after his retirement and enjoyed driving his motorhome to as many destinations as possible. Dino was a hardworking man with a humble and generous heart who touched all those he knew and met. His legacy will live on in the hearts of the many people who loved him.

“Now as your new journey begins, we wish you fair winds and following seas.”
