In Loving Memory of Christopher Ray Roane

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew,
cousin and friend Christopher Ray Roane age 32 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on
December 15, 2022
Christopher was born on November 17, 1990. He was raised in Raton New Mexico. Christopher had
moved to Virginia Beach for over 5 years. He was an avid reader, loved listening to music, and had a
great love for all animals, especially dogs. In the most recent years, he had moved back to Raton to be
closer to family. In his free time at home, he enjoyed spending time cooking in the kitchen with his mom
and playing with his niece Reyna Rodriguez.
Christopher was proceeded in death by his father Mikey Cordova, sister Gregorita Rodriguez and his best
friend and companion dog “Rosie”.
He is survived by his mom and dad Carolyn and Frank Rodriguez, Grandmother Nancy Baily, Uncle and
Aunt Bill and Donna Bailey. Brothers Mikey Cordova (Diane) Eddie Rodriguez and Andy Rodriguez (Ilene).
Sisters Amanda Rodriguez and Maria Rodriguez. His Special Niece Reyna Rodriguez. His close cousin
Megan Bailey. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends. As well as his
lifelong friends Christian Sandoval and Tina who Chris considered to be family.
Cremation has taken place. Per Christophers request no services are planned. A celebration of his life
reception will be announced at a later date.
