In the varsity match it was all Robertson as they pulled away in game one by 11-3 and 19-9 to finish it off with a 10 point win. The Lady Tigers played the net very good but Robertson’s top two hitters Jaylee Gonzales and Alex King-Greenwalt had a slam that was fast and hard. The girls could place the ball in open court with ease. The Lady Tigers Samantha Phillips and Cyrena Ayon played the net batting some of the softer hits back over the net with blocks.
Game two saw the Lady Tigers keep it close as they tied the game at 15, 16 and 17 before Robertson slammed their way to the win by six. Game three saw Robertson take the early lead and pulling out by five early on. Again Giana Marez and Cyrena Ayon made the blocks but Robertson was planted more in the open court for the points. In the end it was another big win for the Lady Cardinals.
