BACKGROUND: Sara Lee Padilla was born on May 9, 1961, in Clayton, New Mexico to Agipito Padilla and Viola (Cruz) Padilla. She worked for hotels in Oklahoma City and later at Dollar General in Kansas and then at Love’s in Clayton. She loved to make tamales and tortillas and sold them to numerous people around Clayton for many years. Sara married Adolfo Padilla on February 14, 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Eric Padilla, and by a sister Martha Archuleta.

HUSBAND: Adolfo Padilla of Clayton, New Mexico.
1 SON: Tobias Olivas of Clayton, New Mexico.
3 GRANDCHILDREN: Eliseo Olivas, Elijah Olivas, and Payson Padilla.
2 SISTERS: Nadine Padilla and Norma Padilla both of Clayton, New Mexico.
2 BROTHERS: David Padilla and Virgil Padilla both of Clayton, New Mexico.
