Michael L Vukonich passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022. He was 78 years old.
He was born in Raton on February 26, 1944. Michael was a lifelong resident of Raton, graduated from Raton High School, served in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He married Kathy Brandenburg on October 22, 1966 and together they had three children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Tona; father, Steve; brother, Joseph; and son, Kurt.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, John Mark and wife Sharon; daughter Lynn Ann and husband Doug; and two grandsons, Cole and Dawson. He leaves behind his sister, Gale; numerous nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Raton on Sat., October 22 @ 1pm.
A reception will immediately follow at the Raton Country Club.
