In loving memory of Joseph M. Acevedo, who passed on February 20, 2022, at the age of 34
He is survived by his grandmother Mary Jiron, mother Lillian Barela, and his children Sapphire & Eric Acevedo and their mother Jennie Gates, his sisters: Angel Acevedo and Domenique Barela and wife Rochelle Jackson, nephews: Izarius, Steven, Richie, Davion, and Sawyer all of Raton N.M. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends that he loved dearly.
Joseph lived a happy life growing up, he always lived in the moment. He had a smile that would shine and make you glow when you saw him. Remember Joseph for who he was for the love he gave, and cherish all the memories. he was a good man who loved his family deeply, he enjoyed camping, having BBQs, prepping holiday dinners, music, dancing, and attending church. Joseph took pride in his work, tattooing was his favorite pass time with drawing and making rosaries following closely behind. Joseph was one of a kind, he will be missed deeply and forever loved.
Services for Joseph will be Saturday, September 17, 2022. We, will, meet at Alderette Pomeroy at 12:30 pm and follow up with headlights on to Mt. Calvary Cemetary for burial services. Potluck will follow at the Oasis Trlr. Parl #8
