Jude Lawrence Trujillo

Jude Lawrence Trujillo was born on March 6, 1972, and lost his battle with cancer on August 27, 2022. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Lawrence Trujillo, maternal grandparents Andy and Jenny Armijo, Father Lawrence Edward Trujillo, and stepfather Alex E. Ortiz. He is survived by his companion Rosa Ramirez of Springer, NM, sons Bailey and Gabriel Trujillo of Beaconsfield Western Australia, Mother Martha Ortiz of Raton, NM., paternal grandmother Julia Trujillo of Pueblo, CO., sister Sheri Rigdon and husband Matthew of Raton, NM. as well as his niece, nephews, great niece, uncles, aunts, many cousins, and friends.
Jude served in the Army National Guard and the United States Marine Corp. He was very proud to have served his country. For the next 20 years, Jude resided in Western Australia where he raised his sons. In Jude’s last years he worked for Colfax County as an IT Tech, another job he loved.
The family would like to especially thank Rosa and his hospice nurses; Christine Sisneros and Dominique Barela for the amazing care they gave in Jude’s last months. A memorial will be held on September 9, 2022, at the Veterans Memorial Park in Raton at 11:00 AM.
