NAME: Janet Sue (Bullard) Wolffarth, age 56, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.


SERVICES: Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton with Rev. Kenneth W. Tidmore, pastor officiating. BACKGROUND: Janet Sue Bullard was born on November 3, 1965, to William David Bullard and Connie Sue Weese Bullard in Las Cruces NM. Shortly after her birth, the family moved back to Clayton where they remained for the rest of her growing-up years. Janet was active in 4-H FFA and the Clayton High School Marching band. While in 4-H and FFA she showed many animals but her pride was in sheep she earned many awards and a few grand champion and reserve grand champion honors. While in the pride band she learned how to play many instruments including the saxophone, baritone, clarinet, trumpet, and snare drum which she took pride in perfecting of them. Janet graduated from Clayton High School in 1983. During the summers of her high school years, Janet was active in softball which she utterly enjoyed. After high school, Janet moved to Amarillo for a short period and then attended college at NMSU in Las Cruces where she obtained her accounting degree and also where she met Randy. Randy and Janet got married on June 13, 1987, this year they celebrated 35 years of marriage. Janet inherited two bonus children when she married Randy which she took in as her own from day 1. Janet and Randy would go on to have three more children together. Janet took great pride in being a Mom and always took great care of her children and made life so fun. Janet and Randy would raise all of the kids in Clayton where they were involved in many activities she was right by their side through them all rooting them on and assisting them in any way she could. Janet always worked, some of her most memorable jobs consisted of waiting tables at the Eklund and Rabbit Ear, office manager at the Union County Leader, and accountant at Ethridge Chevrolet for many years. While in Carlsbad Janet followed in her Dad and Grandfather’s footsteps and carried mail at the Carlsbad and Artesia post offices. In 2011 Janet Randy and their youngest son moved to Carlsbad where they resided for the next 11 years. Recently Janet and Randy made a choice to come back to Clayton to be close to family and especially grandchildren, which are their pride and joy. Janet died peacefully at her home in Clayton. Janet leaves behind a family and friends that absolutely adored and loved her beyond measure. Janet was preceded in death by her dad William “Bill” Bullard, a daughter, Amiee Nicole Wolffarth, a grandson, Shayn Wolffarth, and 2 brothers, David Bullard and Russell Bullard.

HUSBAND: Randy Wolffarth of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 DAUGHTERS: Micah Lyles and her husband Tom of Benjamin, Texas and MaKenzy Wolffarth of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 SONS: Jarrod Wolffarth and Stephanie Senkevich and Trevin Wolffarth and his wife Timmie all of Clayton, New Mexico.

HER MOTHER: Connie Sue Bullard Wiggins of Clayton, New Mexico.

1 SISTER: Sharon Honeycutt and her husband Mark of Clayton, New Mexico.

8 GRANDCHILDREN: Jarrod Wolffarth, Jr., Trae Humphreys, John Lyles, Kayden Lyles, Kamden Wolffarth, Reese Wolffarth, Harlowe Wolffarth, and Rayson Lyles.
