Luna’s Dr. Carol Linder, Rachael Lucero, Dr. Billie Mathews, and Tycie Jackson represented the college at the New Mexico Higher Education Assessment and Retention Conference (NMHEAR) from Sunday, June 5 to Wednesday, June 8. The conference consisted of many higher educational institutions from around New Mexico that are working on projects within the scope of assessment and retention. Luna’s team worked together to further develop the General Education Assessment Plan that was implemented back in 2018. Improvements to the General Education Assessment Plan have been made and training for all directors, faculty, and adjuncts will take place this fall. The team will also represent Luna at the spring NMHEAR Conference, in February where they will be presenting additional data and information related to their project.
