Ricky Lee Waits Sr. 52, passed away on May 26th,2022.
Born in Denver, Co. on February 15, 1970, he is preceded in death by his mother Sue Ann Waits of Trinidad, Co., his father Fred Maestas or Trinidad, Co., his grandmother Irene Morgan of Grand Junction, Co., his uncle Mark Waits of Texas, his aunts Pam Waits of Grand Junction, Co. and Sue Erdman of Trinidad Co., and his first love Laura Martinez- Dominguez.
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel Sainz of Denver, Co., Daniel Martinez-Waits of Trinidad, Co., and Ricky Lee Waits Jr. of Trinidad Co., and God-son Chris Nixon Jr. of Arizona.
His daughter Anna Crawford of Artesia, N.M..
His grandchildren Gabriel, Angelo, and Jazmine Sainz of Denver Co.,
Lily Waits of Trinidad Co., and Victor Waits of Trinidad Co.
His sister Denise Bulis of Raton, N.M., and nieces Sabrina Reyes, Natasha Crespin, and Denice Gallegos of Trinidad, Co.
His great-nieces Martina Martinez and Ali Crespin of Trinidad, Co., and Ava and Aria Moreno and Paisley Powell of Trinidad, Co.
His brothers Sal Torres of Elizabeth, Co., and Gil Sanchez of South Carolina.
Ex-wife Maggie Sainz of Denver, Co., and the love of his life, his best friend and soul mate Amber Griego of Trinidad, Co.

Funeral Services will be Friday, June 17, 202 at 10 am at Comi Chapel with Brother Harry Gonzales officiating.
Private inurnment at a later date.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
