Roberta was an immaculate housekeeper for all of us. in spite of her disability, she worked many years with dad on the Bunker Hill Ranch, 5 miles north of Aguilar. Her dearest friend and next-door neighbor in Sopris was Mary Dona. Roberta frequently joined the Dona family activities. During the process of moving out of Sopris, dad passed away. Roberta was welcomed into the home of her sister and brother-in-law Eleanor and Raymond Evans and became a long-time Raton resident. Annual family vacations were one of her greatest joys and allowed her to see new places.

Despite her disability and difficulties, Robert always had a smile and a hug to share and never complained. We lost our angel and heaven gained her.

Rosary will be led by the Legion of Mary beginning at 11:00 am followed by mass at 11:30 am celebrated by Father Woytavich on Wednesday, June 8th at St Patrick St. Josephs’s Catholic Church.
