In Loving Memory of Ethan Labrier

Ethan Labrier, age 84, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Mountain Time on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Kenton United Methodist Church in Kenton, Oklahoma with Pastor Bob Miller, pastor of the Crossroad Country Church in Amarillo, Texas officiating. Ethan Labrier was born on October 4, 1937 in Clayton, New Mexico to Shirley Clay Labrier and Kathleen (Crews) Labrier. On December 11, 1955, Ethan married Evelyn Ann (Shultz) Labrier in Kenton, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death on May 7, 2021. To this union two sons were born, Billy Clay and Jimmy Don. They lived in Kenton for several years ranching before moving to Clayton, New Mexico where they ranched for 40 years before moving to Amarillo, Texas. Ethan was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Clay Labrier and Kathleen (Crews) Labrier Fischer and by a brother Shirley Bob Labrier.

SURVIVORS:

2 SONS: Billy Labrier and Valerie of Garden City, Kansas and Jimmy Labrier and Tracey of Trophy Club, Texas.

1 BROTHER: Leon Labrier of Canyon, Texas.

4 GRANDCHILDREN: Jamie Labrier and Stacey Shaw of Topeka, Kansas, Randi Labrier and Rich Chamness of Missouri City, Texas, Kari Gonzalez and Rudy of Amarillo, Texas and Clay Labrier and Casey of Sherwood, Ohio.

6 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Kael, Braxton, Jaron, Mason, Cash and Presley.

And several nieces and nephews.

MEMORIALS: The family asks that memorials be made in Ethan’s memory to the High Plains Children’s Home and Family Services Foundation, Inc. 11461 S Western Street, Amarillo, Texas 79118-4119.
