Ida Maxine (Robertson) Segotta was born in Taylor Springs, NM June 1932 and was raised in Farley, NM. She married Frank Segotta on December 29, 1954 in Raton, NM. They lived in California, New Mexico, Arizona and lastly Texas. She was the head cook at Raton Catholic School for many years and then went back to her trained profession as a hairdresser owning her own shop.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Champion and husband Tim. Granddaughter Lauren Hoeffner and husband Ian, grandson Lucas Champion and wife Amanda and great granddaughters Margot and Ellie. Her sister Elaine Case and many nieces and nephews.
No services will be held. A come and go gathering will be held at the Champion home Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Her cremated ashes will be buried in Raton at a later date.
