In Loving Memory of Herman Angelo Gomez

Herman Angelo Gomez passed away on March 15, 2022. He was 79.
Herman was born in Boulder, CO on March 29, 1942, to Pauline M. & Nestor J. Gomez.
Herman attended and graduated from Aguilar High School and worked in construction
throughout Colorado. He enjoyed construction work for many years until an injury imposed his
retirement in 1994. This allowed him to enjoy his favorite pastime of collecting all things he
declared he would ‘use one day.
Herman enjoyed being around family, restoring antique cars – anything Ford was his favorite,
riding motorcycles, fishing Trinidad Reservoir, watching football, reading western history,
building model cars and telling tall tales to all that would listen.
His memory will be celebrated, and he will be missed deeply by his wife Connie, daughters
Pauline (Pete) Salazar, Yvette Gomez, Jennifer (Glen) Stevens and son Angelo Gomez, 10
grand-children, several great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and his many
friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents, brother Ernest, sister Delores, nephew Ernie Jr. and
grandson Isaiah Moreno.
At his request, cremation with no services.
His family would like to express their gratitude to everyone at the Joni Fair Hospice House for
the amazingly loving care that Herman received during his stay. Donations to this hospice would
be greatly appreciated by the family. Joni Fair Hospice House, 1107 Pueblo Blvd., Pueblo, CO
