In Loving Memory of Rudy J. Garcia Jr. UPDATE

Rudy J. Garcia Jr., Loving husband of Lisa (Martinez) Garcia, was born to Rudy Garcia Sr. and Florence Bermejo in Hobbs, New Mexico on July 4, 1969. Rudy entered his Heavenly home on January 9, 2022, at the age of 52 years old.

He was a lifelong resident of Northern New Mexico, mostly residing in Raton, NM. with his final residency in Clayton, NM.

Rudy was preceded in death by his great grandmother Josephine Cruz, grandmother Margaret Martinez, stepmother Ruth Garcia, and brothers Eddie Martinez and Patrick Garcia.

Rudy is survived by his wife Lisa Garcia, in which they were married for over 17 years. Daughters; Shianne, Bambi, Tamara, Jordan and husband Randy Vigil, and Victoria. Also stepdaughters Renee, Gloryana, and stepson, Johnny.

As well as his 9 grandchildren; Gabriel, Alfonzo, Liam, Felicite, Aliana, Randy Jr., Joshua, Ayden, and Brooklyn.

Rudy is also survived by his father Rudy Garcia Sr. of Cimarron New Mexico, mother Florence Bermejo of Wendover Utah, and previous stepmother Barbara Hendrix of Hatch NM.

Surviving siblings are; sister Brenda Samora and husband Tim, brother Randy Garcia Sr. and wife Cordie, all of Raton, New Mexico. Sisters Cindy Hyer of Oklahoma, Yolanda Garcia of Colorado, and brother Orlando Garcia of Wisconsin. Brothers Ernest Garcia of New Mexico, and Dominic Demchek and wife Lucianna of Texas.

He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all whom he dearly loved.

Rudy was a very quiet man; however that did not stop him from being a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He always devoted his life to making his family feel happy, safe, and loved.

He had devoted his life to the Lord Jesus, which he then made it his life’s priority to show others the same love God had shown him.

Rudy was a man of many talents; from Ranching, Horse Jockey, Carpentry, to being a great cook, which everyone loved his cooking. Anything he put his mind to do, he mastered. He loved to hunt, bowl, play and coach baseball, and loved listening to a variety of music. However, his favorite past time hobby of all was watching WWE wrestling.

Memorial Service will be held at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton, New Mexico, on Friday, March 4th 2022 at 11 am, with father-in-law Ronald Castro  officiating. Reception will follow at 1:00 pm at the Elks Lodge in Raton, NM. Interment will be held at a later date.
