In Loving Memory of Marie Eralia Armijo

Marie Eralia Armijo, loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt passed away on February 18, 2022, at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home, surrounded by her loved ones.  She was 97.
She was born on April 6, 1924, to Sipia and Julian Vigil in Valdez, Colorado.

Marie was married to Sandy until his passing in 1994.

Some of her major accomplishments were being part of the Senior Olympics, bowling leagues, playing softball and golf.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are parents, Sipia and Julian, her beloved husband Sandy, beloved daughter Lucille, granddaughter Elena, numerous brothers sisters, numerous nieces, and nephews.

She is survived by her loving daughters Madeline (Paul Velasquez), Shirley (James Hall) Anna Armijo (Chris Furia) son in law Benito Maes, 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great-great-grandchildren, brother Fred Vigil, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 3 pm-6 pm at the Comi Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022, with Rosary at 9 am at the Comi Chapel, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Entombment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are her grandsons, Joseph Velasquez, Richard Velasquez, Steven Maes, Christopher Moreno, Bryan Moreno, and Nicholas Moreno.

SHE WILL BE FOREVER MISSED!
