He leaves behind his son Jose Tilio Sintas Jr. and wife Heather, Victor Sintas and wife Victoria, Timm Sintas and wife Stephanie, daughter Lisa Muniz and husband Anthony. Brother Eppie Sintas and wife Odelia Sister Martha Greene and husband Lee. Grandkids: Candice Hower, Ashley Duncan, Coleman Sintas, Tannor Sintas, Tyson Sintas, Isabel Sintas, Franklin Muniz, Selena Muniz, Alejandro, and Vida.
He retired from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad of 32 years; he loved spending time with his family and friends. Our dad enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and also looking for arrowheads. His favorite things to do were going to the casino, playing the slot machines, and playing bingo with our mom. When we wouldn’t hear from them for days, we all knew not to worry we knew they were at the casino where my mom would make their reservations weeks ahead of time. Dad, we all love you and will miss you. You will always be in our hearts, fly high with the angels, and may you be in peace.
Graveside service for Jose Tilio Sintas will be held on March 1, 2022, at Mount View Cemetery in Capulin, NM at 10:00 AM with Odelia Sintas officiating.
