The Raton Tigers simply couldn’t get the ball to drop and lost rebounds as they hosted the Robertson Cardinals for the district game that would determine the leader of District 2AAA Wednesday February 16.

The varsity boys took the court next with Robertson taking the early lead with a 10 point spread after one quarter. Robertson’s Mathew Gonzales and Bodie Schlinger not only controlled the boards they also scored the larger portion of the points with Robertson doing 17 and 19 in the first half. It was Matthew Quartieri who kept Raton in the game scoring 10 points in the first half.
