Some Forest roads have seasonal designations and are gated until May 1, 2022, and some cutting areas may be inaccessible until snow melts and roads dry. Please allow roads to harden sufficiently to avoid causing damage and ruts. Free Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs) show which routes are open to motor vehicle travel, what types of vehicles are permitted, and dates each road or trail is open. These maps are available online and at district offices.

Permits are sold Monday- Friday, excluding federal holidays, between 8:30 am- noon, and 1:30-4:00 pm.
