Judith Ann Sanchez was born on January 24, 1952, at Mt. San Rafael Hospital in Trinidad, Colorado. On January 27, 2022, she gained her angel wings and her place in Heaven. She had just turned 70 years old.
Judy was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, and friend. She loved to have fun and laugh. She had a kind heart and tried to help anyone in need. She will be missed by many. She enjoyed the outdoors, doing crafts, cooking, and spending time with family.
Judy was the youngest of 9 children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Lucinda LaCrue, her sister Thelma Garcia along with her brothers, Robert LaCrue, Mike (Mary) LaCrue, and Filbert (Celia) LaCrue.
She leaves behind her 2 daughters, Ashley Sanchez and Maňon Sanchez (Tyrel Moreland). Her 5 grandchildren: Arien Rivas, Samantha Vigil, Stephanie Stapleton, Adrian Medina, and LaLei Sanchez, and 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters, Stella Foster, and twin sister, Viola (Margaret) LaCrue, with whom she had a special bond with. Also, her brothers, Napoleon LaCrue and Frank (Geraldine) LaCrue along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
At Judy’s request, there will not be any services. There will be a private viewing for family who would like to say their final goodbyes.
Arrangements were made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
